When I moved to San Diego I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to find a auto place that wouldn’t take advantage of me, (because I’m not the most mechanically inclined) but they have been honest and communicated with me exactly what’s wrong, what I needed what I didn’t, and if something else comes up they will do their best to save you time and money. Very respectful and they do their best to work with you schedule.

Of course your vehicle is gonna be taken well care of. They are excellent mechanics. But you can also expect great customer service! I appreciate both of those things hand in hand.

Christian and his team was Amazing 06/17/2021 - 5 STARS!!! I was on vacation in San Diego from Arizona and my car broke down on the day we were to leave. This turned an awesome vacation terrible. Christian was extremely kind and understanding. He showed so much compassion for my circumstances but what made my experience not be so bitter, he kept his word. His customer service was top notch. I know he cared and his team fixed my car. He helped me get a rental car and a week later when I return he helped me turn in my car. That was above and beyond service. My car is running great and I would recommend Robert's Auto Service to everyone who want good sevice and a great job done.

They are prompt, courteous and honest. 1/3 to 1/2 of the dealer price, Terry, one of their Master Technicians knows his stuff. Christian and James run the service desk and are always upfront about what repairs are needed immediately and those that might wait. Keith Benline, owner is always available as well with questions or concerns. I drive a lot of miles fir my work so they are essential to me.

Car # 3 Repaired! 01/21/2021 - 5 STARS!!! I already wrote a long over do positive review but since then 2 more family cars began having issues the started went out in my Dodge van luckily I was able to get it started and to the shop. Then my moms van started making a weird noise so we took it in for that but then found out the breaks were metal on metal! These guys take the time to check the whole car out not just the issue you are reporting and that is smart! It keeps us safer! Each car issue is fully explained and I am given the option of addressing future issues. This allows me the option of actually planning financially for my next possible repair like the need for shocks. No up sale and no attempt to take advantage of the customer. They are a AAA rated business for a good reason-they are amazing!!

Professionalism and Honesty 01/16/2021 - 5 STARS!!! I went in for a quick transmission fluid drain and flush, the service was done in a timely manner.

Best mechanic shop ever! 10/20/2020 - 5 STARS!!!! I’ve been going to Roberts for almost 20 years! In fact, I trust them so much that when my car broke down in orange county, I had it towed all the way to the shop in San Diego!

All the employees were super nice to me when I came in, and you could tell they were just doing the service you ask for, and not trying to up sell you shit you don't need. I was worried about finding a good mechanic in San Diego, but I think I've found mine.

Knowledgeable and good customer service 10/20/2020 - 5 STARS!!! I very much appreciated the courtesy and responsiveness of the service I received. My repair took a long time and was tricky, but it was done right with authentic parts for my car. I received status update calls which I needed and very much appreciated. I was impressed by how professional, honest, and friendly the employees were. I am from out of town, but I would happily come here for my car repairs if I was a local.

First Visit, Perfectly Happy 10/09/2020 - 5 STARS!!! I have always taken my Fiat 500 Abarth to dealerships for service. But, there are no longer Fiat dealerships that offer service in San Diego, and the Carlsbad dealership had a two week wait. I did a Yelp search, saw excellent reviews for Robert’s, was able to get in the next day, so I took the spot. My Fiat had a check engine light and serious misfire. Robert’s did an excellent, logical diagnosis and repair of my car (thanks, Christian!). They did as good a job as I would expect from a dealer. I am perfectly happy, and will be using Robert’s for all my future Fiat service needs.
