HANDLING LUGGAGE *Bend at the knees, not with your back... *Carry any heavy luggage close to your body’s center of gravity. *Even out the weight carried on each side of your body. *When handling one bag, swap sides as to not strain one side PLANE PAIN Airplane flights are NOT known for their comfort or spaciousness. Try to book an aisle seat for the extra legroom. Though falling asleep may seem to be the natural thing to do, oftentimes this does your body more harm when you awake to find sore joints and muscles. CRAMPED CARS We’ve all been there. Stuck in a car for hours in the same position, with very little wiggle room. To avoid the stiff aftermath, stop every hour or so for a five-minute stretch break to keep the blood flowing. Happy Holidays!

He is an excellent doctor who is friendly, a great listener, and very talented in his expertise of spine treatments. In 2002 I had a successful lumbar laminectomy for central canal spinal stenosis L3-5. In 2004 my neurosurgeon had referred me to Dr. Millard because I had been suffering with severe bilateral sciatic pain. He quickly assessed my condition and recommended an MRI and then epidural injections for L3-5. At the follow up appointment, Dr. Millard thoroughly explained the outcome of the injections. I have continued treatment with Dr. Millard because he is the best, and I am so thankful that he is so precise with the injections. What a lifesaving procedure! Dr. Millard is a wonderful doctor and I trust him completely in assessing and treating my spine. He is so caring and kind, and he never rushes through office visits. He balances his prescribed care to include physical therapy, injections when needed, and home exercises. Since then, Dr. Millard assisted me in identifying that I have multiple neck issues (herniated disc, bone spurring, bone narrowing, etc).
