PG&E has notified us that power will be turned off at our office on 9/27 and remain off through 9/28 to prevent their lines from sparking fires during forecast high winds. This will affect our computer systems and require us to be closed on Monday, 9/27. We will be unable to receive faxes, but emails and voicemail will be received and acted on when we return to work on Tuesday. Thank you for your understanding.

While our offices currently are open, we have indefinitely suspended face-to-face client meetings to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and will conduct business by telephone and email only. Any home inspections we conduct will be exterior-only. Please use our electronic payment and signature services to facilitate our ability to conduct business remotely. If need be, our employees can work from home. Thank you for your understanding. Together, we'll get through this crisis!

Size Matters On Friday, Insurance Commissioner Dave Jones announced that insurer Merced Property & Casualty Company was bankrupted by claims from the Camp Fire (http://www.insurance.ca.gov//0100-/2018/release-141-18.cfm). We've never sold a Merced policy, because we felt they were too small to weather a catastrophe. Homeowners who did buy coverage from Merced have 30 days to find new coverage - give us a call and we'll help you replace your policy.
