Have made progress on the 3D printed chassis, but still think I can get them printing better than these. Its just gonna take some more time and playing with settings on the printer. Here are pics of a 1991 Gambler and a mid 60s CAE super mod. They will still require some work but no more than a kit chassis would

Decided on the 3D chassis I am going to try and print. The 1991 Gambler chassis, here is a picture of it in the slicer. I am still waiting for the printer to get here shortly after the first of the year. It will take some time to get the printer calibrated and working right so please be patient.

I have an idea for 3D printed chassis and may be looking into buying a printer after the first of the year. What I would like to know is, which chassis I have drawings for you would all like to see printed first ? I will have to create the file for printing and would like to start that process by the end of the month. So guys let me know what chassis you would like to have printed first.

I just added the Tognotti T-104 and T-105 super modified chassis to the website in 1/24 and 1/18 scales. They are the basic 100 inch chassis kits Tognotti sold in both the coupe and sedan versions. Mainly the lower rails and the roll cage, you will have to add other bars, mounting tabs, and suspension as builders did back in the day. You can find all my templates on the website. https://robcomodels.wixsite.com/robcomodels

Two more drawings have been added to the website, the 1964 and 65 CAE 500 Super Modifieds in both 1/24 and 1/18 scales. You can message me here with your email address and I will send the PDF files or get them from the site. https://robcomodels.wixsite.com/robcomodels

Happy 4th to everyone ! Wanted to let you all know the next drawing is in layout now and will be published here and on the website soon. Its the 1964 CAE Super Modified kit drawing, CAE sold these as a basic kit. I have also seen pictures of this chassis built at CAE that had been changed, they did away with the miter cuts in the main rail and used a 6 inch radius bend in its place I am going to offer that drawing as well. Anyway here is the first layout, an ISO drawing of the chassis.

I have almost finished the new website, I still have some drawings to add there, but I have added my latest drawing, the 1964 Watson sprint car. Jay is building a Watson and has been kind enough to help me out with his drawing and lots of help. Here is a picture of his car and the website link to the new site where you can download this drawing in both 1/24 and 1/18 scales. https://robcomodels.wixsite.com/robcomodels

Here's the latest drawing in the works, a 1964 A. J. Watson. Its getting close to being ready to be made into templates in 1/24 and 1/18 scales. I am also trying to set up a web page for my drawings, that will take some time I think, there is a lot to learn.
