Great news on a couple fronts.... Dirt racing will begin this year at the Fairgrounds in October. During the Nevada County Fair these dwarf racers will be racing at our dirt track as a tease. Best news? Cars and drivers will be at Big A this coming Wednesday to answer questions and give us a preview!!! Oh Yeah.... IT"S CORVETTE DAY as well. Last night was "Mustang" night in the Big "A" car display series. What a turn out! Everything from a new Shelby to a T5. If you know what a T5 is then you know what rare is. Had two classic Mustangs show up not knowing what was going on. Boy were they surprised. Thank you community and all our fellow classic car nuts!! This coming Monday, December 7th, we will be honoring a day in infamy, the 79th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor. I want you to imagine being in Pearl Harbor that Day or on the Arizona. What would you ask a survivor of such an event? ... What would you want to discuss with a Veteran of that era? Having been a part of our 100th anniversary planning and in on the interviews we did of WWII era Veterans, well, you'll be amazed. This coming Monday Legion Post 130's Jason Tedder has arranged for Lou Conter to tell his story. Lou is one of two surviving crew of the Arizona. What an honor to have Lou as a fellow Post 130 member. Appearing also will be Stan Zabka and Frank Lujan World War II veterans available to tell their stories. Tune into KNCO 830 on the am band, this Monday at 9am and be prepared for stories you'll never forget. Thank you Lou, Stan, Frank, Jason and KNCO for this outreach.

WOW!!!!! Babs & Jamie had 'em dancin' and singin' and donating. Toys for Tots and the Roamin Angels Toy Drive Teams had quite a successful day this past Saturday. Thank you Community! We'll be out again this next Saturday ...December 5th.... at the same locations same times. Start your day with Babs and Jamie at the Cars and Coffee, SPD center GV and them head out to the many donation locations. It's all about the kids folks!!!!

This team is going to make some families and kids happy this Christmas! You know the problems we've faced this year. Problems are meant to be overcome. God has yet to make a mountain than man can't conquer. The Marines? The Roamin Angels? Big "A"? Riebes? The Salvation Army? Look at all the supporters joining the team.
