Featuring all steel under frame construction. These cars have the correct outline of their wooden prototypes. This construction guarantees a long life of heavy use, with little regard for adverse weather. Truss-rod bracing are standard on the car, if the prototype had them. These cars can be lettered for any of the following or your favorite railroad.

RMI's Florence & Cripple Creek 300-349 series gondolas are designed off of original drawings. Our cars match the originals as close as possible. We are even adding the side truss rods to make the as authentic as possible. We will be offering them in the handsome Yellow and Black paint scheme, and lettered for the "VICTOR GOLD MINING CO." as well as the latter "F. & C.C." brown paint job. Phil driving Bill's Sweetcreek mogul at the Bittercreek Western RR. This locomotive is powered by steam using propane to heat the water. New RMI turbulators were installed in the boiler flues making the boiler incredibly efficient. Contact RMI if you would like to purchase a set of stainless turbulators for your propane powered steam engine. Available in a number of sizes to fit all steam locomotives not only RMI steamers. We just tested a new set of our drop gates. This is a first for us. There is one master unit, a relay unit and four slaves. Here is a video of them being tested in our shop.
