Happy Anniversary to Robert Louis Stevenson and Fanny Stevenson. The couple was married on May 19, 1880 in an intimate ceremony. After the wedding the two, along with Fanny's young son Lloyd, ventured up to Napa Valley for their honeymoon. There they explored the area before settling into an abandoned bunkhouse on Mt. Happy Mother's Day from the Robert Louis Stevenson Museum! Mom's are always our first fans and Stevenson's mother was no different! Margaret Stevenson was immensely proud of her son and his talent. She frequently would write his stories down when he was a child and supported him throughout his life. Throughout Stevenson's life the two corresponded through letters sent from all over the world. Eventually, Margaret joined Stevenson in the South Seas for a short while before r...eturning to her home in Edinburgh, Scotland.
