It saddens us to see such a bright and thoughtful individual pass. Dr. Thornton was the first Black member and the first Black Woman on the RARCC board. Thank you to Dr. Thornton for her service and desire to give back to the community. We wish her family and loved ones well. Dr. Thornton’s family has set up a go fund me in support of her 12 year old daughter. The link can be found in our bio. The city of Moreno Valley will also be holding a memorial service, Friday Feb. 5th at 10am via the city’s facebook and youtube accounts, in her honor. Rest In Peace. #rarccsupport #morenovalley #honor #veteran #morenovalleycitycouncil

Sensory bottles, or mindfulness jars, are often referred to as calm downbottles Watch the glitter’s slow descent as this helps to calm breathing regulate emotions.
