This past weekend 7 RMRU members went to Yosemite to climb the Lost Arrow Spire. The spire is next to Yosemite Falls and rises over 2,000ft above the valley floor. Members climbed this in the 1980s and early 2000s and this climb celebrates the teams 60th anniversary. #rmru #searchandrescue #sar #roperescue #climbing #rockclimbing #yosemite #mountainrescue

Another night up on the rock! Last evening, RMRU was called to rescue 2 climbers at Taquitz Rock on the El Whampo route. RMRU was able to preform a pick off and raise both subjects safely to the top. Always great working with @riversidesheriffaviation who assisted us with getting all the responding team members and gear to the top of the rock and back down safely. Check out the link in our bio to see the hover step in action! #rmru #sar #searchandrescue #hoverstep #taquitzrock #lilyrock

Just as this weekend's storm was passing through, RMRU members had a training on ELTs. Snow, freezing rain, and high wind is the weather we love. #rmru #searchandrescue #sar #elt

Our team isn’t confined to just Riverside County, we travel to wherever help is needed! Over the past weekend, team members from RMRU headed up north to help assist Butte County with some search operations in the aftermath of the Bear Fire. #rmru #sar #searchandrescue #bearfire #buttecounty
