River’s Edge residents looking to maintain their fitness goals need to head no farther than the senior living community’s fitness center. The senior living community offers numerous exercise classes throughout the month, including strength training. The small group class incorporates weights and fitness bands and focuses on strengthening the core, back, legs, arms and shoulders. Residents leave feeling invigorated and energized!

Martin Luther King Jr. Day is a special holiday to remember the famed Civil Rights pioneer. At River’s Edge, residents will celebrate the life and times of Dr. King with a special viewing of his famous I Have a Dream speech. To adhere to social distancing guidelines, residents can view the presentation from the senior living community’s Television Room or the comfort and convenience of their residences.

River’s Edge has planned a fun way to close out 2020! The socially-distanced New Year’s Eve party will look back at the activities and programs and highlight the many wonderful friendships that were strengthened throughout the year. The Zest Department will also give a sneak peek into the many exciting plans for the new year. Cheers to 2021!

River’s Edge’s maintenance-free lifestyle affords residents the newfound time to discover or rediscover hobbies such as art. In December, the senior living community offers an interactive art class, inviting participants to tap into their creativity. The class is provided in a small-group setting to ensure there is plenty of social distancing. Residents are looking forward to showing off their finished masterpieces!
