First spotted by the Middle School 4x, in the locks: a big fish and a bigger heron! We had to head back to the docks before the heron managed to get this down. Middle School Rowing gets 50+ 5th-7th grade kids out rowing on their local waterway each year. Help RCRC expand our rowing capacity on - or before! - May 5. Congratulations to RCRC’s Jr Men’s Youth 4x and Men’s U17 4x, racing this morning at the San Diego Crew Classic. Youth 4x races again in the 3rd final at 5:07pm today and Men’s U17 4x advanced to the A Final at 8:59 tomorrow morning! Thanks to BDOG donors in 2019 and 2020, RCRC was able to install a clean, dedicated area for weights training at the expansion site, which was HUGE in making space for our biggest Junior team roster in 5 years. Without this space for land training we could not have run safe rowing training for 80+ teens in 2020-2021. What will we accomplish in 2021?
