Hey Bakersfield and Kern County! The Rio Bravo Ranch is excited to announce that we are ready to share the beef from our farm raised herd with our community. We began our cattle operation in 2016 with a Polled Hereford bull named Maestro and seven purebred Hereford heifers. Now they, and 22 of their offspring eat at their leisure on native range land grasses in the winter, irrigated pasture in the summer and are occasionally supplemented with alfalfa. Absolutely no antibiotic...s or hormones. Intensive grazing and close care, along with the USDA certified meat processor has led to the quality of our meat.
