It's funny, not in a ha ha way, how much the cancer and treatments have affected me. My wife, Jodi Metheny-Searcy has made the comment you've got Chemo brain more than once. And boy was she right. But it goes much further than that. Lately I have noticed my not having any motivation or care to do things. It is like I am out of focus, cloudy headed or sluggishly tired. I have found that I am developing a real lack of interest in exercise or riding my bike. Well today I had som...e time to myself, to think and wonder why I am feeling this way. WHY can't I get motivated about anything? bringing me to the question of WHY? So, in my contemplation I opened the Scarlett Park Foundation’s website and read my first blog The Beginning of Why. This opened a reality to me that I had lost my focus and reasons for what God has instructed me to do, RIDE! Prayer first and action second.
