Born in the Italian region of Piedmont, a region that is also well known for its famous Barolo wine, Moscato is made from the Muscat grape, which is a grape that in addition to making Moscato is also eaten regularly as a table grape, and used for making raisins. . It's ability to be enjoyed in its true fruit form, is due to the grape’s high level of sugar. It’s this sugar that gives Moscato its swee...tness and boost in popularity. . Moscato wine is famous for its sweet flavors of peaches and orange blossom. The word Moscato (moe-ska-toe) is the Italian name for Muscat Blanc one of the oldest wine grapes in the world! . Did you know that we have not just 1, but 2 Moscato wines for your enjoyment? . Our 2018 Moscato is an off-dry (but not too sweet!) white dinner wine that is made from the Muscat Ottonel grape which is rarely found growing in Niagara. . Light to medium bodied with aromas of pink grapefruit, apricot and peaches, along with soft citrus and grassy notes on the palate. . Our 2019 Frizzy is a Frizzante style (Sparkling in Italian) semi-sweet sparkling wine made from Muscat grapes using the Charmat Method of sparkling wine. . Please be advised that during the province's stay at home order curbside pick up for wine orders is by appointment. We are trying to keep the winery operating on our usual hours for the winery but retail is limited. If you have ordered wine online for pick up please call winery or email [email protected] to confirm pick up time and date. There maybe some confusion if you ordered online and if it is ready but are planning on picking up on different time and day we ask that you call or email us to confirm before making the trip. You can always order wine via email or call us 905-562-8853. Many online orders are through delivery courier service but pick up needs confirmation.
