It is with a heavy heart, I honor Osensei =(great teacher) Grant Yasuo Fugita. He taught me and so many the art of koi. He loved teaching about these amazing creatures.

I have seen many posts lately about night time feedings. I am not saying not to do it. But I feel the most important meal is breakfast. The koi have warmer water to digest during the day and it is there active time. For me ,I give many feedings through out the day but never large feeding at night.

Even though the competition was tough, it was a honor to handle Chris DiMaio’s koi to the ZNA nor cal show.
