Glorious day in the garden today. Cleaned, mulched, weeded, de-palmed... and saw some critters along the way. Thanks to everyone who came out!

So heartening to have some good news for a change. Our California monarchs are in bad shape, but it's wonderful to hear that their eastern cousins are thriving for now :)

It took me four days to recover, but we accomplished a LOT during our work day on Saturday. Thank you everyone!!! (and to our dear Bob Berg for the photos :)

We had a great day in the garden on Saturday - did some literal "spring cleaning"!!! The weeds are "whacked," the seedlings are settling in, and there's a brand new home all ready for some lucky bee colony. Thank you to all who took part. You put the "community" in community gardening!!
