It's crazy how fast the first summer program session has gone by!!! RYC summer session #1 has passed and we are starting session 2 with another great group of kids and instructors.

Thank you to our Small Boat Yard clean up volunteers: Seth Clark, David Herrigal, Vickie Gilmore, Bridget Harcey, Ethan Peterson, Colin Moore, Buzz Blackett, Rowena Carlson, Laurie Davis, John Dukat, Jim Malloy, Janelle & Mark Kubinec, Bob Cunico, Ron Tostenson and the gallant leader Kim Desenberg. You did an amazing job, filling Ron Tostenson’s big work trailer and sweeping up. The SBY looks great.... The picture below doesn't include all of the volunteers

RYC Great Pumpkin Regatta. Thank you to the 115 boats who came out. We had a 90 minutes postponement - wind picked up shortly after racing started. Postponements gave sailors time to raft up and visit (socially distant of course) - some hadn't seen each other since lock-down started in March.... Thank you to PRO FRED PAXTON and your great Race Committee. RYC managed to pull off another wonderful event. Even thought we couldn't have our big party - lots of racers came in costume.
