Good news! We are open for curbside service only at the moment. We have modified hours of operation and are only open now on Mondays, 1:00PM - 5:00PM, and Wednesdays, 2:00PM - 6:00PM. At the moment, we are prioritizing tool returns from patrons who had tools out on loan since March 2020 and have select tools available for loan for current members. Based on direction from our Richmond City Manager, the City of Richmond will be closing down all non-essential buildings, non-essential services, and will have non-essential employees transition to working remotely for at least 3 weeks. This means the Tool Library will be closed as well, with a tentative reopening on April 6th, contingent on the shelter-in-place being extended or not. All current tools out on loan will be extended to April 6th with no late fees accrued. We a...re sad to be closed but we prioritize the health of our community above all else. **Please note the Richmond Tool Library is closed from Wednesday, December 25th, 2019 through Wednesday, January 1st, 2020. We will re-open on Friday, January 3rd, 2020 at 2 PM. Mini-Grants for FY 2019-2020 up to $5,000 Available Now! The Richmond Community Services Department (CSD) is accepting mini-grant applications to support organi...zations that are Richmond-serving and that partner with and/or consistently utilize facilities managed by the Community Services Departments. Grants up to $5,000 are available to support organizational programming and/or projects that make use of the CSD’s aquatic centers, community centers, parks, and the convention center and can encompass programming around youth sports leagues and teams, special events, educational forums and classes, recreational classes, stipends, CSD facility rental fee payments, and overall community enrichment.
