Peerless K308D Transformers MC Phono SUT 4665 K-217D Altec 436 438 compressor Here is a pair of Peerless K308 input transformers. They are in perfect shape, except one has some wear on the label but K308 can be seen. I checked with both DC and AC signals and they are working perfect. I measure the response from 15 hz to about 25Khz at the -1 dB points. Not only that but they are very well matched, like within .1dB. Really close, and a testimonial to Peerless quality control.... The leads are long. Perfect for those tube mic pres! Or for Step up trainsformer for moving coil cartridges. And these were used in the Altec 436 and 438 Compressors. These are so rare! https://www.ebay.com//Peerless-K308D-Transfo/143439271437 #Peerless #Transformers #proaudiodiy #audiodiy #Altec #Alteccompressor
One of my recent music projects is Mike Oosten Who's Fooln' Who?. It’s Rock all the way. It was engineered in various exotic locations in the US: A Wisconsin farm, studios in Los Angeles... The tracks were mixed in Florida on Vintage Pro Audio's EMI console - same as the Abbey Road Beatles desk, rebuilt by me as a sidecar. Excerpt from Musical Morsels review:... ...Michael gifts us with styles ranging from folk and barrelhouse blues to reggae, from jazz to Celtic. His lyrics are stories that will enthrall, make you cry, laugh and sometimes nod in agreement. An extremely pure songwriter with a talent pool for innovation as big as lake Michigan." https://soundcloud.com//i-like-it-michael-oosten-whos-fool
