Oh my... June 1st we are opening with some changes please see below. It feels like forever since we saw you, or at least a small lifetime since we closed our office doors mid-March. Covid has changed the world we know, and we've changed our office to accommodate patients. We are 100% committed to you feeling safe and comfortable at our office.... As a staff, we’ve read the expert guidelines from the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), CA Dept of Health, and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We’ve beefed up our safety precautions to match those stringent guidelines. Starting, June 1st, we’re ready to safely welcome you back.. Here’s what we’re doing to protect everyone so we can all be healthy: -YOU’LL COME ONLY WHEN YOU’RE HEALTHY: Patient questionnaire is posted on the door and office lobby. At check in, Edith will make sure all your answers indicate you’re healthy and ready to be safely seen. -APPOINTMENT + WAITING ROOM SPACING: We’ve spaced out appointments and chairs in our waiting room for social distancing. High-touch items like magazines and children’s toys have been removed. Please do not bring the whole family.; Just you and maybe a parent/helper. -PLEXIGLASS BARRIERS + SANITIZING: From counters, chairs, and single-use pens,we are keeping it clean. Every patient will use an antiviral/bacterial mouthwash before treatment (killing 90% mouth germs). -HEPA FILTERED AIR: These are AMAZING and screen 99% of all microparticles INCLUDING coronavirus particles from the air. -IN ROOM BARRIERS + SANITATION: N95 masks AND face shields for all assistants, hygients and myself. As well as high vacuum suction to catch 90% of aerosols during treatment. You’ll only touch your plastic-covered dental chair which will be replaced between each patient. Each room is also cleaned between patients. -WE’LL ONLY COME WHEN WE’RE HEALTHY: Daily health checks apply to all staff as well. We are excited to see you again, get you out of pain, prevent infection, and take care of your teeth. My staff and I are eager to help you stay healthy.
