The Foothill Drive-In was closed on September 5, 1988 with Eddie Murphey in Coming to America & Bobcat Goldthwaite in Hot to Trot. It has been torn down and replaced by a shopping center. The Rialto Cooling Center provides an opportunity for the Rialto public to escape the heat and relax in one of the cities chilled buildings. The Rialto Cooling Center is at the Carl Johnson Community Center, which is located at 214 N. Palm Avenue.
