Dear Rhythmic Academy Parents, Rhythmic Academy takes the health of all of its students, parents and staff very seriously. With this in mind, we encourage everyone who enters the training facility to liberally use hand sanitizer, and frequently wash hands with soap and warm water for 30 seconds. In addition, please make sure your children does not share their gymnastics equipment and bring their own water bottle to each practice. In addition, we have instructed our cleaning c...rew to deep clean the gym each night after practice with a very strong disinfectant and request parents not to be present in the gym during practice, everyone including gymnast, coaches & parents do not to walk on the carpet with outside shoes, and keep your child at home if you notice that she's not feeling well, sneezing, coughing, with fewer or even a minor cold. Please do you part to keep everyone safe by following a strict rule of hygiene! Unless instructed by local authorities Rhythmic Academy will remain open and regular practice will continue to take place as usual for both Van Nuys and Temple City locations. Dear coaches, athletes and parents because of the evolving coronavirus (COVID-19) situation in the California and to protect the athlete’s health, USA Gymnastic has instructed all sanctioned events to be canceled till end of March. With this in mind and to limit the spread of COVID-19 we decided to postpone LA Cup 2020 that was scheduled on March 26th to 31st to a weekend in May or June. We will let everyone know of the final date as soon as we secure the venue. This decision... has been made in consultation with our staff and the Region 1 Committee in effort to limit the spread of the virus and in the interest of the health and safety of our athletes, coaches, & parents. Rhythmic Academy is honored to have internationally reputed rhythmic gymnastics coach Alina Kuyevda join our coaching family, to lead our recently formed Rhythm...ic Academy of Pasadena/Temple City. Mrs. Kuyevda arrives to our program with world class credentials as an international level coach with over 20 years coaching and gymnastic experience. She is a Category 4 Brevet International Judge and was part of the elite Ukrainian National Team coaching staff, under direction of Mrs. Albina and Irina Derugina. Alina is a graduate with honors of National University of Ukraine on Physical Education and Sport and hold a bachelor's degree of journalism from the Institute of Journalism at Taras Shevchenko National University in Kiev, Ukraine. Mrs. Kuyevda is fluent in 5 languages; English, Russian, Ukrainian, Italian and Spanish. She has strong communication skills and is extremely enthusiastic and motivating. Her training style is demanding, technical and disciplined yet nurturing and fun. Her teaching approach and professional instruction develop strong technical skills and inspire passion and love for Rhythmic Gymnastics. Alina has an impeccable reputation among coaches throughout Europe and is well respected in the rhythmic community for the quality and efficiency of her work. We welcome Mrs. Kuyevda to our academy and look forward to helping us build Rhythmic Academy of Pasadena/Temple City into a world class Rhythmic Gymnastics program.
