A great reminder from the BCP catechism about WHO we are and what our MINISTRY is: Q. Who are the ministers of the Church? A. The ministers of the Church are lay persons, bishops, priests, and deacons.... Q. What is the ministry of the laity? A. The ministry of lay persons is to represent Christ and his Church; to bear witness to him wherever they may be; and, according to the gifts given them, to carry on Christ's work of reconciliation in the world; and to take their place in the life, worship, and governance of the Church.

All Saints was a blast!! Thanks to all the kids who came out to celebrate our first Kids Mass. Let’s do it again soon! #baptism #saints @ Church of the Resurrection L.A.

Our worship Sunday will be especially geared towards our children. We'll be singing kids praise songs and have kids sermon. Worship along with us we celebrate All Saints and baptize baby Clara.

KID-FRIENDLY ALL SAINTS CELEBRATION - Families with young children are invited to join us this Sunday for Clara’s baptism. Thom Shelton will be leading us in some songs our kids know from children’s church and Fr. Jon is going to share a short kids message (no adult sermon). It’s going to be fun and of course at Rez, baptisms are always special. Be sure to sign up using the link in bio or comments.
