Reverse Creek Lodge

Silver Lake is roughly half open (ice blocks reflection of mountains) on this 6th day of April. 18 days still before the lakes are decorated with fishing poles. Wonder now if the weatherman will keep us white landscape with a snow storm for the Opener......probably not, but there still is hope!

And right in the midst of a great snowfall, Mrs. April Naaden delivered our 20th grandchild. Sure makes my snowmobiling that much more enjoyable, don't have to stop to change a diaper before I get out the door!

Mightyful big snow for Mono County and June Mountain Ski Area this last week of January. Each year we dedicate our season of Advent praying a Novena prayer to the Holy Infant of Prague for abundant snow. May we all turn to Providence for our needs and not so much to that distant Uncle we all call Sam!

A slow start to our winter season but that never lessens the beautiful sight to behold after a 2 day snowfall. Our ski mountain has announced an opening date to begin the New Year in proper fashion!

Wrap-around (aka: Nevada-Low) moisture dropped us a few inches of snow this morning (Nov 8). A much thankful drop indeed in this drought-stricken Central Slope of the Eastern Sierras Mountains! One week left to our fishing season (with exception to waters open to year round fishing) and folks have been commenting that the best catch of the year is happening now. Can you trust their stories, that is the question!
