Our studio-kitchens are booked for the year. But we still have studio-rooms (without kitchen) available that have a residential feel. Although these are without a kitchen, they still come with a number of amenities such as microwave, medium-sized refrigerator, coffee-maker, table, dresser, love-seat, 1950s music jukebox, and carport next to room. These are only available to rent for an extended stay. No walk-ins due to Covid-19. You must apply online. Please email us at [email protected]

We finally got Spectrum with incredibly fast (200+ Mbs) speeds in each apartment-unit! This is the first this motel ever had cable though everyone streams these days. Happy Thanksgiving!

One of our Studio-Kitchen Apartments has become available for rent at $32.67/day ($980/month)--all utilities included except wifi/cable--only for an one-year extended stay. Please call to make an appointment for viewing. Applications and rents go through an off-site property management company. A lease starts after the first 29-days.

The figures show the latest tourists (or maybe locals) that got dressed up and stopped by to shoot pictures here. The last ones dressed up in 1950s attire and brought a 1950's car (See post way below). Before that we had students periodically bring beautiful models for photo shoots. We appreciate the love ... I guess. On other good news, today our neighbors down-the-road on the Old US395 route finally cut down that enormous, burnt tree. It has been dead for years.

Our nightly rooms are a hidden treasure in the city. As one person put it this week, we are a hole-in-the-wall find. It's a secret hiding place. No noise from neighbors. We had to adopt a credit-card only policy to keep up with the times and to keep the rooms comparable to those very expensive 5-Star Hotels we patroned in Europe, London, and NYC. What a deal we offer for under $100! We even have a pillow perfume and water-filter for the shower to make your skin soft. Come check us out for a night!

We will have an opening for one of our studio-kitchens late this month. Our kitchens are full sized and are a room of their own with windows. They are not kitchenettes. These bachelor/bachelorette-plus apartments are meant for one person (or two people at maximum). All utilities included except cable/wifi. These used to house the military personnel at MAFB back in the day--and still support various military!

Our large studio-kitchen apartments are one of the forgotten features of the motel in the city. We have a limited amount. They used to be advertised in the yellow pages back in the day phonebooks were commonly used. Remember those? The kitchens are full-sized, built in the 1950s, and are the best deals for LONGTERM stays in the city at less than $35 a day (of course only with a minimum stay of a year). There have been many in the city that started their life here. Some of them revisiting even insisted that we reopen them again. We did! Right now, we have no vacancy for those units. All filled. Sorry! Check back again or stay at one of our fancy daily rooms at competitive, regular motel rates.
