Retro Investigations 26.12.2020

I have heard this recitation by Red Skelton many times and believe every word. It breaks it down so that the true meaning comes through. It is too bad that the Pledge of Allegiance isn't taught this way in schools today. It teaches pride and belief in this country and the principles for which it stands. Perhaps the attitude of those in this country would be different if they understood the true meaning of the pledge. I hope everyone passes this on so that all are taught... the true meaning of what this country stands for. God Bless America, not just on specific days of the year, but every day.

Another win! My prolific litigant appealed our win in San Bernardino County which involved nine defendants whom Barnum had sued. On Friday, April 21st, I went to the Appeals Court hearing to watch the proceedings between Barnum's attorney, Tim Taggart, and our attorney, Russ Kiner. Both gave their arguments but Russ shot through each one of the other sides' points and arguments.... We received the response from the court yesterday, April 16th. This is the fastest we have gotten a decision from an Appeals Court. However, Russ did a wonderful job and the Court ruled in our favor! Appeals stated that the trial court did not err in any of their decisions and the ruling was to stand. Congratulations to RUSS KINER for winning the case (and I like to think Retro Investigations had a small hand in it as well). This one is in the books but Retro has two more cases looming on the horizon involving Mr. Barnum. Hopefully, we will win those as well.

A fraudster bites the dust... Retro Investigations had begun investigating Rodolfo DeHoyos until it was found the Riverside Police Department had an open case against him. We then referred all victims to the PD. I am happy to say that DeHoyos who was extorting money from business in Riverside County regarding ADA (supposed) violations was convicted on 143 counts which included: Threatening letters to extort money; Grand Theft; Attempted extortion; and Extortion. He is to be... sentenced 4/7/17. He should be gone for a long time and businesses can give a small sigh of relief. More of this needs to be done so that these fraudsters will learn a lesson and stop scamming businesses out of their hard earned money. One for the good guys!!
