We welcome French member of parliament for North America Mr Roland Lescure who is in Los Angeles visiting, consulting and speaking to the French community in his circumscription. We are very happy and honored to receive and host the honorable member of the house for the next few days. Bienvenue à Los Angeles monsieur le député!

The 18th Street Arts Center celebrated their 30th year at the Residence with us. Very happy to have been part of celebrating their achievements so far.

French Film director and screenplay writer, reknown for his films such as ‘Amelie Poulain’, ‘Delicatessen’ ‘Alien 3’ was hosted at the Residence for dinner last Tuesday.

Jacqueline Lyonga, former director of the AFI festival and now with the LA Film festival, was inducted into the French Order of Chevallier des Arts et Lettres last Monday at the Residence.

Professor José-Alain Sahel of the Ophthalmology Department of the University of Paris - Sorbonnne, chair of the Ophthalmology department of the University of Pittsburgh, Founder and Director of the ‘L’institut de la Vision’ in Paris was hosted at the Residence last Sunday with colleagues, as part of a conference visit to Los Angeles.

Boulevards des Séries and American counterparts met to discuss and network at the Résidence last night. An evening of excellent and fruitful exchanges between people associated to and involved with Cinema and Television.

Boulevard des Séries dinner to welcome French writers, screenplay writers to Los Angeles, where they will be meeting their American counterparts of the same Industry here in America this week.

We’re proud to be part of the THIRD edition of Boulevard des Series, a week full of meetings, workshops, and panels dedicated to TV series.

Luncheon for the American Friends of the Louvre yesterday at the Residence.

A great supporter of our Majorelle Blue wall, in front of which we had the honor of bestowing him the French order of Chevallier, has now left us. We will miss his enthusiasm for our gardens at the Résidence. RIP and Love François Perrin.

The Grande Dame of French cinema, has left us. We at the Résidence have had the great honour to receive and host her in the last few years. She will be greatly, greatly missed.
