AWARD WINNING FILM. RESCUED is faith-based story inspired by true life events, which carefully gathers and meshes the lives of two brothers, bridged together by the incredible force of love, forming a multi-layered plot where questions of inner struggle and faith are depicted. The drama focuses on Agustus Torrante, who, due to alcohol poisoning, is rushed to a hospital, hence going into a coma. While in the coma state of being, Agustus is brought to a moment in time where ...he sees his brother, Markus Torrante, opening the door that takes him through the journey of his mind; there he observes his childhood, his present and his possible future, which elucidates his impending disastrous reality. While in the coma state of being, Agustus watches Markus, a devoted faithful man, who, despite loving his pregnant wife Damaris, neglects her, creating friction in their relationship. Agustus, a man accustomed to bad habits, places a facade of joy, evading his dark reality, becoming prisoner of his own mind. He is a recovering alcoholic whose constant battle with addiction has taken him down a gloomy path; becoming a compulsive liar, dishonest, lacking decency, cheating on his fiancée Clare, ultimately destroying their relationship. A story assembled with layers of human emotions, showcasing real-life characters and their complexities; each displaying a powerful arc within their intricate story-line, taking the audience through a rollercoaster of emotions.
