Are you ready to Illuminate Hope? On August 1st, the West Region will Illuminate HOPE on our doorsteps. Luminarias honor every life touched by cancer. You can dedicate them to a loved one lost, someone currently battling, or anyone who’s overcome it. When you attend a Relay event in person, you’ll see the Luminarias decorated with names and sometimes messages to the people they’re dedicated to. After dark, Relay participants share an emotional moment when each Luminaria is li...t in remembrance of a life touched by cancer. Together, we take a moment of silence to remember the loved ones they’re dedicated to. Because of the pandemic, how we unite and fight back will look different but our passion to end cancer is the same. You are encouraged to visit your local event website, make a donation for luminaria. Use this printable copy of a luminaria bag to decorate and put on your doorstep or tape them on your door.
