Today, The Rehabilitation Center of Oakland hosted a Christmas Eve Tea Party with Hot Tea, Refreshments, Christmas Music, and Christmas Trivia! Happy Holidays to all.

Today John Cain our President of Resident Council along with the residing residents of The Rehabilitation Center of Oakland honored Ace at their weekly happy hour celebration for passing his nursing exam and becoming a Licensed Vocational Nurse! Ace, Thank you for your continued service and care to our residents. God bless you Ace, the best is yet to come for you!

Today the residents of The Rehab Center of Oakland welcomes Melody Yan, a Chinese Guzheng Musician for their November Birthday Party!

Today at our monthly resident council meeting, the residents decided to search through our Laundry’s Lost & Found. Malisa was the resident who found the most regarding her lost items! The residents requested to do this at least every other week as a resident activity, which will be coordinated by Alex our Activity Director.

Cheers to Noc Shift Workers, you are truly one of a kind! Last night The Rehabilitation Center of Oakland recognized and celebrated our Noc Shift workers. Ace, one of our longtime CNA’s with 6 years of dedicated service was awarded Employee of the month. We also celebrated Employee’s Years of Service, one of which was 14 years long! Thank you for all that you do for our residents everyday, you are appreciated.

Bake Sale Success! Carrot Cake, Chocolate Chip Cookies, Lemon Bundt Cake and Chocolate Cup Cakes. Our residents and were happy and satisfied customers!

32oz. Cup of Lemonade for only $2.00? That’s a deal! Our Lemonade Stand was such a hit that we plan to have another one soon!

The Rehab Center of Oakland hosted a Nacho Fundraiser that went extremely well! We raised $200.00 to be added to our Employee Holiday Fund. The residents enjoyed themselves.
