Last night the streets were filled with people waiting to see and be seen, bars were flooded with laughter and shouting, honking cars, dogs barking, nightlife everywhere. And there she stood, silently, white blossoms and a black trunk against a white building with black windows on a clear night in #istanbul. Excited to head back to the sounds, smells, and sights of Istanbul in just a couple of days! We’ll be partnering with the amazing folks @small.projects.istanbul to train advanced macrame skills to women refugees and make each JAC by hand! The #jacjourney has taken me to some wonderful places. Today I visited the atelier where each JAC will be made by hand.
