Fuller grad Avril Speaks is one of the producers of the next film we're screening on October 1. She has over twenty years of experience as a filmmaker, including credits as a producer, writer, director, and editor. She made her directorial debut in 1999 when she directed her first feature film, The Round Table. Her 2018 film Jinn premiered in Narrative Competition at SXSW and won Special Jury Recognition for Writing. Our FREE movie screenings are now available nationwide! While theaters are closed, we've moved our advanced screenings online. BOYS STATE is this year's Sundance Grand Jury Prize documentary winner. Watch it with us on Aug 13before it hits streaming services.
Writer and Director Sarey Martin Concepción put the final touches on her short, FATHER MARY while in quarantine in Los Angeles. Sarey is a Fuller graduate and the Editorial Manager for the Office for Science, Theology, and Religion Initiatives at Fuller Seminary.
Drive-in theaters are about to have their day. From August - October, 160 Walmart parking lots will be transformed into drive-in movie theaters. Partnering with Tribeca Enterprises, they plan to bring 300 showings to the socially-distanced audiences across America. Locations have yet to be announced.
