We finally have both Flu shots(6 months and up) and Flu Mist ( children over age 2 yrs) in stock! Please call 725-9355 to set up an appointment.
Parents! We know that many youth sports have been canceled. Unfortunately, sports exams are often the only time we see our adolescent patients. We recommend once yearly physical exams starting at age 2 years old. As children get older, we end up seeing them less and less. Please don't skip these important appointments for your older kids.
Is your child planning on playing sports next year? Call the office today to see if they are due for an exam. Don't wait until the last minute. These appointments book up really fast toward the end of summer. Get in now before the rush. Call the office at 707-725-9355. We are continuing to request that everyone call from their car to check-in in order to limit the amount of people in the office at one time. Our waiting room is closed and all of the exam rooms are sanitized between patients. We also recommend wearing masks for all who are able.
Dear families, We hope you and your loved ones are safe and have everything you need. These can be scary and stressful times, but this will pass and life will return to normal. In the meantime, please stay safe, stay home and stay kind. It is in the most difficult times that we remember what's truly important. Obviously, coming to the pediatrician's office carries some risk as we are the place people go when they're sick, however Redwood Pediatrics has made the following ch...anges to help keep our patients and staff safe. 1. When you come to your appointment please check in by telephone and then wait in your car. We will call you when you can come in to your examination room directly, without spending time in the waiting room. 2. All surfaces will be cleaned and sanitized between patients. Your providers will be wearing N-95 masks to prevent transmission in case we are infected but do not know it yet. We are, of course, following all recommended hygiene protocols for providers. 3. If you believe you may have been exposed to COVID-19, please call us before coming in. Testing is still limited, so if we determine that we need to test your child we can get the test pre-approved by Public Health before you come in and can swab your child's nasal passage in your car, without exposing anyone else. 4. We are still encouraging younger children below 2 to have their well child checks, especially if they are due for vaccinations. Many of these appointments can be made early in the day, before a lot of sick visits arrive. Older children or children who don't need vaccinations may choose to postpone their appointment, but if you wish to have your older child seen we can still accommodate you. 5. We are in the process of setting up telehealth capabilities through the Zoom app. For talk appointments or visits that don't have a large physical examination component, we may be able to conduct the appointment remotely. Take care of yourselves and each other, Redwood Pediatrics
We are still open. Right now we are asking everyone who has an appointment with us to call the office when you get to our parking lot. We will then confirm your cell number and give you a call when we have an open room for you. You may receive a text with a link to complete your check-in. Office phone # 725-9355
