Happy Monday everyone, we hope you are all having a blessed start to your week. It is with purpose that we love to shower our clients with treats on holidays they once were forgotten on. Valentines did not disappoint. As you can see our women were adorn with roses and fabulous treats from the Ice Cream Company. We are grateful for the women the Lord has blessed us with and the wonderful partnerships we are building. A special thank you to Anna S. who showered the staff with pizza and chocolates You are appreciated. #WhereMiraclesHappen And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them. - 1 John 4:16.

Happy 2021 Friends and Family!!! A new year is upon us filled with new posibilites!!! Psalm 20:4 tells us "May he give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed." Than Proverbs 16:3 states "Committ to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans." Arent those amazing?! Just knowing all we have to do is have the desire, follow the Lord, and the rest will fall into place is a gift in itself. If you set a goal and would like to share please com...ment below and for those that are lead lets pray for one another and our desires to be fullfilled. Here are some of the goals our staff have set: "My #1 goal is to dig deeper into studying the Bible and how the scriptures tie in together." "I'd like to start an Art class with Transforming Heart Through Art for the women." "I'd like to strengthen our relationship with the county and strengthen our pratices." "My goal is to sit for testing to become a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor. I complete my courses this Sunday, next its time to test." While another said: "I want to sign up for CCAPP courses and complete that process." "I want to be joyful in every situation and to have endurance with all obstacles and to be of love and kindness." "I'd like to be more committed to my bible study and make one new frienship within my group." and, "I just want to be a healthier, happier me!" Again, feel free to post your goals so we can pray for one another. #WhereMiraclesHappen

Happy Monday Friends. We would like to thank everyone who supported our event on Friday. You've helped instill excitement among the staff and clients that will forever be remembered. That in itself is a precious gift!! And a special thank you to Alicia Lopez for going over and beyond with volunteering Friday night. "Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise." Psalm 95:2 This is also a friendly reminder of our apple fundraiser currently going on. You only have two weeks left to place your orders so make sure you get them in. #WhereMiraclesHappen

Happy Fajita Day!! We are anxiously awaiting our kick off tonight at 4pm!! We'd like to thank everyone who has purchased a ticket or 70, yes 70! Many have asked what their contribution to our fundraiser is going towards, well, let me share with you. Id like to call this, Part 3. Do you recall Redwoods asking for prayers with staff each night at 7 pm? Do you recall our post highlighting a homeless encampment and an empty room at our location? And who recalls God answering t...hese prayers, brining a young lady to our Thrift store? Now its time to meet her. Everyone say hello to Donna. At the age of 8 Donna was taking care of herself. Donnas parents suffered from drug abuse and were incapable of caring for her or her sister. After Donna's fathers death her mother lost everything and Donna found herself living with her grandmother. At the age of 12 Donna began drinking and smoking marijuana. Her addiction began progressing through the years and she suffered through domestic violent relationships and birthed 2 daughters, whom she adores. Donna's children were removed and she began living a life she never imagined for herself. Donna found herself alone and homeless living on the streets. After much coaxing Donna still refused to enter Redwoods. Little did she know God had other plans. God opened Donnas eyes and led her to our site. Donna realized Redwoods is what she needed and is grateful to be here. As we sit, talk and cry Donna tells me, "everyday is a learning experience and Redwoods has already made me a better woman and mother." Donna is able to have face to face visits with her daughters again and she says her life lesson has "taught me with God in my life, everything is possible." There are many other stories like Donna's. This my friends is why we are working hard to fundraise. So far our fajita dinner is allowing for one women to be housed for 30 days at Redwoods. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. #WhereMiraclesHappen
