One of Redlands little gems
Want to help raise funds for both Redlands Conservancy and SupportPublicLands? One easy click does both! Be on the lookout this weekend as Michelle does her three-day hike through all the open spaces around Redlands!
It's the last week's push for our January Fresh Air Challenge
We're super excited to welcome Michelle Markel to the Fresh Air Challenge - she will be doing a through-hike of Redlands on the final weekend, looping all our trails together in one three-day hike of 56 miles! Support her as she works to increase knowledge, exploration and enjoyment of public lands all across the US. All contributions benefit Redlands Conservancy and her new organization, Support Public Lands.
What to do for the next two weeks and beyond Outdoors in Redlands is the most COVID-safe place to be, even during the most recent Stay at Home orders. Take advantage of this time to enjoy our 28+ miles of urban and rural trails. Maps are available on our Web site or at Redlands Visitor Center. Two of our sites offer unparalleled opportunities to volunteer and work solo - Redlands Gateway Ranch in Live Oak Canyon and Asistencia through the Friends of Asistencia. You'll be ...outdoors helping in the gardens and working on the trails. Or you can offer your strong back to the Trail Care Stewardship Team to help with trail maintenance - all outdoors. Over many years, the City of Redlands has had the foresight to preserve hundreds of acres (more than 500) as natural open space so Redlands' residents and visitors can enjoy a beautiful and safe place to escape the chaos of civilization. Visit the web site for information about volunteering. https://redlandsconservancy.org/volunteer/ See more
Not too late to shop our E-Store If you're tired of buying presents that nobody wants, take a look at our E-Store (www.redlandsconservancy.org) and shop for something that Redlands Conservancy wants - a native plant, a native tree, an office supply for Asistencia. You purchase it in the name of someone you exchange gifts with, perhaps your Aunt Mabel, it stays with the Conservancy, and Aunt Mable enjoys knowing her gift is benefitting everyone who enjoys the gardens at Gateway Ranch or Asistencia. And, Aunt Mabel won't have to find a place in the closet for something she really didn't want. We'll buy the plants and plant them in the ground for you. Aunt Mabel can visit "her" plant anytime she wants. https://redlands-conservancy.square.site/
