Starting tomorrow, Monday the 31st of August, we are allowed to have indoor dining at our Chicken Shack restaurants at 50% (half-full) capacity! Yeah, that's right! When the going gets tough the Tough get going! This last week after in-store dining was once again shut down in our restaurants we sat down as a management team to figure out how to weather this new storm. We had a novel thought ... What if instead of trying to cut costs during this difficult time, we did just the opposite? What could we do to increase the overall value of our food in order to entice new customers to come try us out for the first time? As we sat there brainstorming what we could do to add value to our service, one of our managers was eating our Mimi’s Southern BBQ waffle sandwich. How is the sandwich, someone asked him. It’s really good although sometimes I wish there was more chicken. As soon as the words came out we knew we had our answer. And so, we are excited to announce that our chicken waffle sandwiches, our chicken bun sandwiches, our delicious salads, and our Chicken & Waffle Entree are now being served with 40% more chicken. We have some good news and some bad news The good news is that this week we launched our Shack Burger! We know you love chicken, but you are also going to love our new Shack Burger! We finally decided to give in to all of you red meat die hards! The bad news is that, as of today, the State of California has once again closed down in-store dining for our two Chicken Shack locations. ... Soif you would like to try out our new burger, we are unfortunately required to ask you to do so while sitting in one of outdoor patios, by ordering take-out, or by having us deliver them to your door. The Shack Burger is available on our brioche bun or our yeasted waffle (don’t knock it until you try it!). Like all of you, we are very much disappointed by this.
