Parks and Recreation is excited to announce a new program for civic organizations and small groups of people who would like to be part of their city parks. The Tehama County Health Services Agency has approved of the COVID-19 plan. The program gives people an opportunity to be a part of beautifying the parks. Despite today’s weather, this new shade structure is just about complete! Not only will this huge cantilever pavilion cast a huge shade for pool and splash park... patrons, it’s engineered to support a load of solar panels in the future that will help to offset the parks power use. It’s a proud day for Soroptimist International of Red Bluff and The Splash team, and the shade structure was built with the help of our friends at Community Foundation of the North State, Outback Construction, and Shaw Construction. Also a big thank you to Red Bluff City Council and The Public Works and Building Departments for all of your help in coordinating this build! See more
