FYI: Statistics overwhelmingly show that the areas or counties where safe and sane fireworks are sold has a significant reduction of fires cause by fireworks. The reason being, where fireworks are outlawed, the people there buy illegal fireworks that are usually much more dangerous and have many projectiles. This year, there are more areas and counties in California that are selling legal, safe and sane type fireworks than in the past. Larger California cities who have now legalized safe and sane fireworks are expecting a significant drop in firework fires because the people will not be lighting off illegal/dangerous ones.
