WOW! 773 Dictionaries labeled, packed and ready to go out to every 3rd grade student in Tehama County! This gift to our children is a powerful reference tool to gain increased proficiency and literacy skills. Its usefulness goes beyond the spellings, pronunciations and definitions it lists. It is also a companion for solving problems that arise as a child develops reading, writing and creative thinking abilities. Thank you to everyone that came out to help and for those that sponsored a classroom. The success of this project depends on your tireless efforts and personal commitment to improving literacy in our community.

Dictionary Labeling tonight at 5:00 pm at the Tehama County Department Of Education. We have stacks of dictionaries and need some help preparing them to go out to ALL the 3rd grade students in Tehama County!

Did you know that you do not need to be a member to join us for a meeting? Start off you Friday morning with a great group of people and interesting speakers. If you are interested in being a speaker please contact us to get on the calendar. Next week we welcome the mayor of Red Bluff as our presenter.
