It was a really good weekend you guys. I feel like I want to tell you so much about it. But I’m having a hard time summarizing for some reason! . We just live in such a different context than our not so distant ancestors. We are so sedentary. We are. And I truly believe that this contributes to some of the issues that we deal with over our lifetimes. Including issues that arise the pregnant and postpartum phase. So I’m heading into this new week trying to move more. . Rest ...out of a chair. Chairs are super new as far as human history is concerned and our bodies don’t totally get them. If we never move our pelvic tissue past 90 degrees of flexion...what does the tissue think about that? . For me right now, it’s not so much about increasing the intensity of movement as it is about increasing the volume. . Comment below with any questions! This is 32! This has been a really good age so far. I’m feeling so fly in my jumpsuit. I’ve got my rainbow unicorn @squattypotty crown on. Pipes and I had a joint bday party. Thank you to everyone who sent me birthday wishes-I felt special! I like to set a few intentions every year and this year is about mindfulness. Food, exercise, products I buy, waste...I’m ready to be a little bit more thoughtful and deliberate about this stuff.
