LONG POST OF GRATITUDE . . Kintsugi is the Japanese art of repairing broken vessels with gold. The idea embraces the imperfection and flaws and seen more beautiful and even stronger; exemplifying the Zen Buddhist philosophy of Wabi Sabi. .... . This year has been broken into an undetermined number of pieces, and for each of us those pieces look different, but broken none the less. With this new round of shutdowns I’ve realized that I’m not repairing my vessel alone, but rather with the support of the most incredible community that has been built over the past four years through Rebel, and those repairs radiate with most brilliant gold I’ve ever seen. I truly do not know how to put into words the gratitude and love that I have for each and everyone of you. I am beyond thankful to continue inspiring, exploring, and creating with all of you. . .
