We had two car loads full of items to donate! This has been such a difficult year for so many people. I can’t stand the thought of people not knowing where their next meal is coming from.... SOLD! 1440 S. Indian Trail in Palm Springs SOLD for $1,299,000! Congratulations to my amazing clients Kon and Michelle on the sale of their vacation rental!... I met Kon and a Michelle at one of our favorite breweries in downtown Palm Springs in October 2018. They had purchased their home for $657,500 dollars on January 2015. This home was a very successful vacation rental rendering about $800 dollars a night! Kon and Michelle were not even thinking of selling their home when we met , but I kept in touch with them and continued to share feedback on what I thought their home could sell for. I told them I thought we could sell their home for about 1.3 million dollars based on comparative properties that had sold. Kon and Michelle even had another agent do an evaluation who said they could get 955K for it. They decided to take a chance and listed with me! After the first photo shoot, I got an email from Michelle. She said she had been up all night because she didn’t like the pictures. We went through each picture together and Michelle told me what bothered her. Because this property had been a vacation rental, some things were neglected, and because of Covid, they couldn’t get here to make the changes they wanted to make. I took notes on every picture during our call and was determined to make this look like the 1.3 million dollar home that I knew it was! In the subsequent weeks, Michelle and I worked together to make the property look gorgeous! We hired a handyman to paint the wrought iron fence black and we replaced the dead grass twice! We had so much fun and so many great laughs ordering pillows, candles, and new umbrellas. Lowe’s and Home Depot for succulents and other items. The best was when the pillows arrived and they were the covers only. Lucky for us, I was able to get the inserts easily and quickly and even borrowed some from my own stash of pillows. In total, I had three photo shoots on this property to get it right! Well, it all paid off because we opened escrow on this home after only six days on the market and closed on October 5th at full asking and no repairs made by the seller. Talk about a great investment! This property paid itself off through rentals and doubled in price! A lot of people close to me ask me why I work so hard and this is why! SOLD! Congratulations to my incredible clients Kevon and Ron on the purchase of The Playboy Pad in Deepwell in South Palm Springs.
