Real Costume Company

It has been a very long time since we have posted something out there for all to see and for that, we apologize. We have just returned from a much needed long long break and in that time we have made some decisions and decided to take our creative in a different direction. Caesar was such an undertaking that he pushed our limits, tested our boundaries and drove us to the brink of exhaustion both physically and mentally. In the end we were so proud how he came out, even if we...’re still tinkering here and there. He was the first project we ever created that earned a him identification rather than an it or a thing.He will always be real to us, there is an indescribable bond. However, looking towards the future we were originally going to bring you a life size TaunTaun from Empire Strikes Back, however, for many reasons, we have decided to postpone that project, maybe indefinitely. For now we are going back to square one, where I, myself began all this insanity decades ago. We are going to focus on miniatures as our past projects have been too grand in scale and we are literally running out of room. So, we decided on a series of miniatures which will focus on our favorite films and scenes that will be modeled down to the every last detail. This commission came our way from a repeat customer that we love working with. She optioned us for the pauldron portion of her costume and away we went. Say hello to Ashlee as Ryuk/Death Note!

Drawn by my nephew as I have recently caught the flu. He might have a future at the company with skills like this.

It's so pretty that I don't want to cover it up. This is maybe MK 4 or 5 of hands redo. After reviewing pictures of Caesar we noted that the hands were too straight and flat, so I give you "curve claw." Funny enough, I actually saw this design in a dream I was having and first thing I did when I woke was sketch it out.

Sometimes it pays to google yourself/company.
