Nancy and I join with you in the spirit of this solemn holiday and in your prayers for the New Year. Our heartfelt wish is that at the conclusion of the Days of Atonement, each of you may be inscribed for a good year in the Book of Life and that we may work together to build a world of peace for our children and freedom for all mankind. Ronald Reagan, on observing Yom Kippur and the Jewish High Holidays, 1982

Tomorrow is Constitution Day. Let us be inspired by President Reagan’s words from this day in 1987: Active and informed citizens are vital to the effective functioning of our constitutional system. All of us have an obligation to study the Constitution and participate actively in the system of self-government that it establishes. This is an obligation we owe, not only to ourselves but to our children and their children.

With many schools back in session, and a fair amount going back virtually, of great importance to our educators are the resources available to support not only the function of teaching students, but for the continuous learning of the instructors themselves. Intended as a comprehensive national resource center for U.S. History, civics, and social studies teachers, the information provided on our website encompasses student curriculum, programming for educators and students alike, and nationwide professional development opportunities. https://www.reaganfoundation.org//curriculum-and-resources/
