MENU. MENU. MENU. Changes. Additions. Oh yes! We are posting some PRICE INCREASE. It is a hard decision to make, but our ingredients are proving hard to find and difficult to stock up. Especially with this CoViD-19 in the midst of us, finding and ordering the ingredients from our usual supplier have been way harder than usual. Sourcing out and buying from other stores can be difficult too because we look for quality and good price.... And so...to continue serving you with the best food possible, we are forced to increase some of our price tags. WHEN IT’s OUR TURN TO CELEBRATE!!! We cook for a lot of people, for a lot of reasons and for a lot of celebrations! But last night, we got to cook and prep for a ‘loved one’. We get to celebrate Inang Mely’s (Mama Mely) 67th Birthday. ... Celebrating ‘new normal’ style, we gathered the family together in our humble abode and shared a family meal! Some of her favorites, some are new dishes we tried, some are all-time faves and some are just cravings... The dinner went well, cousins (kiddos) huddled up in one room, adults have fun around the celebrant chit-chatting, catching up and laughing hard. What did you do with your family this weekend? CRISPY-LICIOUS LECHON KAWALI. What would you find in every filipino table during a big feast? Lechon is a must-have for any pinoy eating-together. Lechon is roasted baby pig (sucklings). When perfectly cooked, it appears to be shiny and golden brown. Crispy when you crack on the skin. Super tender meat inside and best paired with a special sauce made from grounded pork liver. But out here we can just grab a bottle of Sarsa ni Mang Tomas the bottled version of the liver s...auce. Sometimes you just crave for a taste of lechon or a family dinner (esp with CoViD) within your social bubble. ... but you don’t really have to order a whole lechon! If you’re really craving, some options for lechon are- roasted pork shoulder or lechon kawali will do! Our LECHON KAWALI are broiled to make the outer skin really crunchy and still keep the inside meat mouth watering tenderness. FROZEN BBQ. Wait..... Stop!... I know, I know... I hear you! You have lots of questions... so fire away on the comments or send me a DM! New product? Not decided yet... This Frozen BBQ came about today due to a customer’s change of plans. With the busyness and craziness in the kitchen today, this was a welcome change! We need not do the grilling but I finished this job of skewer-ING the pork BBQ earlier. Would we be accepting order for raw and frozen BBQ? This is of course a welcome possibility, but tje rules still apply. You still need to put an order for BBQ (pork or chicken) at least 3days in advance. We do not usually freeze BBQ on skewers.
