Reading Awareness Mentorship Program by GMT at UC Irvine

Today's program was a success! We had 36 students, which is three times the number when we first started the program in February. Thank you to the RAMP Volunteers and our supervisor! Y'all are amazing human beings. <3 See you all next month! :)

Dear RAMP Volunteers, Thank you for helping me out with this project! Here are a few important details for Saturday’s program: 1. MEET at the Flagpoles at 9:00am. Don’t be late because we have to meet with the coordinator at 9:30am. If you need a ride, please email me ASAP and I will arrange a ride for you. For those of you that want to meet us at Boys and Girls Club, please be there by 9:30am. Here is the address: 950 W Highland St, Santa Ana, California 92703... 2. Please wear your GMT shirt. (Dress comfortably because we will be playing sports with the kids) 3. This Saturday we will be teaching the kids about the digestive system and how to make healthy crepes! The majority of the students that attend our program do not eat breakfast, so I think they will really appreciate the snack! Then for the third activity, we will be playing dodgeball or basketball with the students. 4. Like and Share our Facebook Page! The theme for this month's RAMP Program is "Nutrition". We will be teaching the students about the digestive system and how to make healthy crepes! Afterwards, we will be having a regular physical exercise class. :) Message me if you have any questions or would like to volunteer.
