Tri-Valley REACH Awarded Generous Grant from The Pleasanton Rotary Club Foundation Tri-Valley REACH is happy and excited to announce the award of a $575 grant from the Pleasanton Rotary Club Foundation! This much needed funding will help replace flooring at our Pleasanton residences. Thank you so much Rotary Club of Pleasanton! Our mission is simple, REACH creates inclusive communities and independent living for individuals with developmental disabilities or other special nee...ds through quality and affordable housing in the Tri-Valley. The support and donations of charitable foundations like the Pleasanton Rotary Club Foundation are fundamental to our on-going housing needs and subsidies to provide our tenants with clean, orderly home environments in carefully selected neighborhoods. We are always reaching out to a variety of charitable organizations, and corporations to find grants and funding. Tri-Valley REACH is very grateful for the opportunity provided by Pleasanton Rotary Club Foundation and looks forward to a continuing partnership for future endeavors. Robert Half International Awards Grant to REACH Tri-Valley REACH is pleased to announce they have been awarded a $1,500 Grant from Robert Half International. Robert Half is a global staffing firm who is known for their long history of innovation and high ethical standards. Most of Robert Half’s company-sponsored philanthropic programs are focused on education and workforce development and while Tri-Valley REACH does not fit that exact description, Robert Half recognizes the ...value of independent living for an adult with developmental disabilities. They realize living independently creates an environment where an adult with a developmental disability learns confidence, independence and life skills allowing them to take responsibilities and ultimately enter the workforce. A key directive of REACH, in addition to providing affordable housing for a population that is classified in the extremely low income category, is to keep the REACH properties well maintained and in good working order. These funds will be used toward the flooring upgrade project currently underway in the 11 REACH properties in the Tri-Valley. Rotary Club of Livermore presents REACH with Grant Award! Rotary Club of Livermore announced Tri-Valley REACH as the recipient of a $600 grant! Tri-Valley REACH, as well as several other well-deserving non-profit and educational groups, were presented with their grant awards at last week's Rotary Club of Livermore zoom meeting. Each grant recipient gave a short presentation of their organization and where the funds would be applied. For REACH, this generous grant will be us...ed toward expenses associated with upgrading flooring in Tri-Valley REACH Livermore residences...a very important home improvements for our tenants. Through the generosity of local grants and private donors during 2020 and into 2021, Tri-Valley REACH has been able to continue to serve what is often an unthought of community, adults with developmental disabilities. Tri-Valley REACH does not receive state or federal funding; Tri-Valley REACH relies on generous donors and local grants for the purchase of comfortable homes, maintenance, repairs, and independent living services for adults with disabilities currently in the Tri-Valley area of Pleasanton and Livermore with plans for expansion. The Board Members of Tri-Valley REACH are extremely grateful to our heroes at Livermore Rotary Club for recognizing the important needs of the Tri-Valley REACH community.
