A shared lobby and restaurant are located between the hotel guest room wings, along with a rooftop pool, deck and cabanas that offer an expansive view of Marina del Rey.

Happy fifth anniversary to our project superintendent Rob Evans! In the past 5 years, Rob has worked on some of our most iconic projects, including the Pasea Hotel in Huntington Beach and the NoMad Hotel in downtown Los Angeles. . Currently Rob is onsite wrapping up the Marriott Hotels in Marina Del Rey. . Congrats to you Rob, and thank you for five great years!

January 5, 2021 R.D. Olson Construction breaks ground on the Chesterfield Apartments in Los Angeles. Thank you to Councilmember Marqueece Harris-Dawson and Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti for your dedication on this much-needed affordable housing project. Located just blocks from the iconic Exposition Park in Los Angeles, this project consists of the new, ground-up construction of a privately owned permanent supportive housing development that will provide a total of 43 u...nits. With over 33,000 square feet, the property will feature a common area to include onsite property management offices, bicycle storage room, community room, community laundry facilities, as well as outdoor landscaped areas. The project will be a total of five stories and provide forty three studios ranging anywhere from 400 SF to 415 SF, and one 836 SF, 2-bedroom manager’s unit. The Chesterfield Apartments are due to be complete by Summer of 2022. This is R.D. Olson’s most recent affordable housing project to break ground. Olson, Jose has completed some amazing projects, including the Mozaic at Union Station Apartments in DTLA, the Waikiki Edition Hotel in Hawaii, and the Marriott Residence Inn in Goleta, just to name a few! . We were excited to find out today that our 2015 Canstruction structure Lending a Helping Hand...One Can at a Time", along with architect @watgdesigns , won for Structural Ingenuity in the Best of Canstruction 2020 OC competition! . In honor of Construction Appreciation Week, today we are featuring our senior living project, Atria, located in Newport Beach, CA . For the first phase, as seen here, we demolished the existing south building and reconstructed a 75,000-square-foot assisted living space featuring 85 residential units complete with kitchenettes. Amenities for residents will include a large, two-story living room with floor-to-ceiling windows and a two-story fireplace; dining room served by a n...ew full-service kitchen; pre-dining lounge area; bistro; library and card room; theatre; activity rooms; music room; wellness rooms and an interior courtyard. Upon completion, residents in the north building will relocate to the south facility. .
