Redwood Coast Tsunami Work Group 11.06.2021

Bay Area folks got a little earthquake reminder this evening. A M3.9 earthquake (originally reported as a 4.1), occurred this evening at 6:29 PM PDT. IT was located in the East Bay - 2 miles N of San Lorenzo and 8 miles SE of Oakland. This shows the felt reports to the USGS Did You Feel It web site.

Daily Earthquake Update for Monday June 28: a 2.7 near the Gorda ridge far offshore of Cape Mendocino, a 2.8 on the Mendocino fault, a 2.6 in the Gorda plate offshore of the CA-OR border, a 4.2 in the Shelikof Strait between the Alaska Peninsula and Kodiak Island (felt of Kodiak), a 4 in the Andreanof Islands of Alaska’s Aleutian chain, and a 3.1 in NW Wyoming.
