Tyler Cole's birthday on October 13 (Tuesday) would have been his 13th birthday. Tyler's family is hoping that our Cooley Cobras will remember Tyler by honoring something they have instilled in their family: helping those in need and doing random, nice things for people. Tyler's family would love our Cooley students and families to do something nice for someone else this week in honor of Tyler and his October 13th birthday. This can be something simple. The family would be grateful if you would share with those who receive your kindness the hashtag: #stayTRUEforTyler! Student Council Elections- Election campaigns have started for the Leadership students who are running for office. Since we are not on campus to put posters up and talk to students directly, they will be posting on social media, the Cooley Leadership Instagram account, and by talking to friends. Here is a list of the Leadership students and what office they are running for: ASB President- Katie Liebman, ASB Vice-President- Emmalee Connors and Sophia Gilliland, ASB Treasure...r- Alyssa Abbott, Isabella Connor, and Phoebe Rattu, ASB Secretary- Brooklyn Gardner and Angelina Le, 8th Grade Representative- Aubrey Dyke and 6th/7th Grade Representative-Landon Toman, Rylee Lauer and Julia Vu. MAKE SURE TO COMPLETE YOUR DAILY ATTENDANCE LESSON! As soon as your child logs on to Otus for the first time each day, they will go to the Daily Attendance Lesson located in their 1st-period class to answer the one question in the lesson. The student response is time-stamped in order to ensure the question was answered on the correct day. Please remind your child to go to the Daily Attendance lesson first when logging in for the first time each day so their attendance can be accurately recorded.

Spirit Week is Coming- Our Back to School Spirit Week starts Monday the 31st of August and runs through the 4th of September. Monday: PJ day, Tuesday: Sports day, Wednesday: Disney day, Thursday: Tacky Tourist day, and Friday wear your class colors or Cooley Spirit Wear. 6th grade is Green, 7th grade is black, and 8th grade is White. With parent permission, DM your picture to cooley leadership (@cooley_leadership) on Instagram for a chance to be featured showing your school spirit. Our Nest is the Best!

The Roseville City School District’s (RCSD) annual free summer meal program launches Friday, May 29, 2020 and will run through July 31, 2020. Anyone 18 and under can receive free breakfasts and lunches at select campuses in the area without the need for registration. Participating locations in RCSD include RCSD Buljan, RCSD Cirby, RCSD Eich and RCSD Woodbridge. Participating locations in the Dry Creek Joint Elementary School District include Antelope Crossing Middle School, Barrett Ranch Elementary School, Coyote Ridge Elementary School and Silverado Middle School.
